S Type Single Acting Plunger Pump
The S-Type is single acting with drive through worm gears by electric motor, or air motor. Standard pumps are manufactured with 1", 1.1/8" and 1.1/2" stroke. Plunger sizes from 1" to 1.3/4". By suitable combination of bore, stroke and gear ratio, outputs to suit a wide range of requirements from 54 to 860 L/Hr can be supplied at pressures up to 42 Bar.
Specifications
Speed and Motors: - Standard electric or air motors up to 1.5 kW at 1500 rpm are employed giving a pump speed of 100 to 240 strokes per minute. Alternative motors and speeds for non-standard electrical supplies can be supplied. All units can be supplied with variable speed drive units to give 0 - 100% output control.
Materials of Construction: - The gearbox case is of high grade cast iron. The pump head is manufactured from either cast iron or stainless steel. The standard plunger is 316 stainless steel. Valves are aluminium bronze or stainless steel with stainless valve springs. Standard gland seals are Nitrile, with options of PTFE for more aggressive liquids.
Typical Applications - The S-Type is suitable for a wide range of duties handling water or aggressive liquids at high pressures. Applications include pressure tests, chemical feed and hot water to steam generators, boilers and autoclaves.
All pumps in this range can be controlled by frequency inverter giving remote control by 4 - 20 mA signal.
