Pygme Diaphragm Pump Mk 3

The Pygme Diaphragm pump is a fixed output single acting diaphragm pump with high efficiency ball valves. High grade engineering plastics for wetted parts enable a wide range of aggressive liquids to be handled and the absence of any gland offers zero leakage. Drive from vertical flange mounted motor is through a worm and wheel to an eccentric operating the diaphragm via a connecting rod.

Size: - Pumps are manufactured with 5/16", 1/2" and 1" stroke with diaphragms from 2.3/4" diameter. Outputs of up to 485 L/Hr are achieved employing motors from 0.18 to 0.55 kW with pressures up to 10 Bar depending on flowrate.

Speed: - Standard electric or air motors of 1500 rpm are employed giving a pump speed of 60 strokes per minute. Alternative motors and speeds for non-standard electrical supplies can be supplied if required.

Materials of Construction: - The gearbox is of high grade cast iron. Standard construction of the pump head, uPVC with PTFE diaphragm and valve balls of glass or stainless steel. Other materials are available to special order. Standard units are suitable with liquids up to 600C

Maintenance - All gearbox parts are enclosed in an oil bath only requiring a periodical check of oil level. The pump head is not harmed if run dry.

Typical Applications - The Pygme Diaphragm is the ideal pump for chemical injection, water treatment dosing, sampling etc., in fact any application where economical positive feed of liquids is required.
